We are the Northern Wordsmiths. We meet regularly in Whitley Bay, in North East England for ‘sit and write’ freewriting sessions and writing support.
We formed as a group after taking part in a ‘New Writing North’ writing course and now meet regularly to catch up on what we’re all writing about, provide feedback on each other’s work and even provide accountability support through ‘sit and write’ sessions.
